series produced by Fox Networks Group and StudioCanal–backed Urban Myth Films.
The series is created and written by Howard Overman and directed by Gilles
Coulier and Richard Clark. The series is an adaptation of The War of the
Worlds, an 1898 novel by H. G. Wells about Earth coming to terms in the wake of
a sudden Martian invasion. It is the third television adaptation of the novel.
It stars Daisy Edgar-Jones (for the first two seasons) and Gabriel Byrne, along
with an ensemble supporting cast, including a number of co-stars who change
over time.

War of the Worlds (TV Series 2022):
As people across the globe are
experiencing hallucinations, MI5 agent Zoe contacts Bill for answers. Catherine
Durand detects unusual black hole activity. As Adina starts the next stage of
her plan, astronauts Juliet and Richard see warning signs in space, uncovering
Adina’s sinister mission. With Richard’s help, Catherine discovers she can
travel to another world. A new revelation puts Martha’s loyalties to the test.
Zoe breaks Bill out of prison. Tom grapples with a betrayal and encounters a
familiar face. Catherine looks for a solution to the dangers of the black hole.A

Review of ‘War of the Worlds (Season 3) 2022’: TV Series :
You need incredible patience to sit
thru this slow moving series with 24 episodes. There are flashes of excitement
interspersed with long boring segments with average acting. I really couldn’t
go the distance and bailed out at the halfway mark and jumped to the last
episode. I think a score of 6.4 is very generous unless you are a person who
likes a slow moving, drawn out story. I couldn’t recommend this at all. The
most annoying thing is the long camera shots on people waiting for a reply from
another person. The whole show could have been completed in half the number of
episodes. In the end I just didn’t care about these people.
Was very slow to start. Nothing like
the original war of the worlds. Completely different story. But it sure got
better and better. It was a shame to see it end. Great European cast. Studio
canal always come up trumps. Would like to see more, but if this is it. Good
ending. Gabriel Byrne is a very decent actor. The french cast put most of us to
shame with their excellent English. Nice to have a cast of all ages. I gave it
8/10 only because of the slow start. Pearl Chanda should be used more as a
actor, great presence. Lea Drucker, Bayo Gbadamosi and Ty Tennant. Were all
very good. Hope to see them all cast again.
